Wimmer Being Unfairly Pressured to Exit Tiger Program?

As many of you very likely know, Coach Rick Wimmer has been placed on administrative leave and the rumor mill is suggesting that he is being pressured to relinquish his position altogether.  If you have not gotten the email that went out Saturday afternoon asking for supportive emails to be sent to HSE Schools officials, including key school board members, the email is pasted below.  I would suggest making sure ALL school board members are included in addition to those identified in the email from earlier today.

Jurban@hse.k12.in.us Abourff@hse.k12.in.us Mberesford@hse.k12.in.us Jdelucia@townfin.com Jpdelucia@gmail.com    URGENT!      Please send an email to the above to express support for Coach Rick Wimmer as he is facing possible disproportionate, severe punishment for a situation involving conflict with a student during a school APC weight training class.      Please consider what FHS would be like without Coach Wimmer.  The thought puts a lump in my throat and I for one am doing all that I can to keep the situation in proportion.      Please craft an email about what Coach Wimmer means to you and our children and please be respectful but direct.      The email addresses are above.  Send them now, have others send them, forward this email to others you know would want to let their voice be heard.  Don't wait as the window may be closing.      Rick is not perfect but he cares a great deal for our kids and community and takes an old school work ethic to provide a life changing program to our kids.  He is passionate, vulnerable when necessary, and honest with himself and others.      Write it within 24 hours or I fear you will be left with only good intention, but no influence.
